Gingerbread Breakfast

2 oz. Doc’s Hot Poker Whiskey 
.75 oz. simple syrup 
1 oz. Doc’s Maple Whiskey 
2 inches fresh ginger, cut in thin pieces 
1 tbls. maple syrup 
Sprinkle of both cloves and cinnamon 
4 small gingersnap cookies, crushed 
1 cup hot coffee 
Rim a glass with some of the simple syrup and dip in crushed gingersnaps. 
Add the first six ingredients to shaker filled with ice and shake. 
Pour into glass and fill with the hot coffee.
